Coverage
Protection for your home and property.
Saucon Insurance Company writes homeowners and dwelling property coverage across the Lehigh Valley. Below is what each policy is built to do — your agent will tailor the limits to your property.
Homeowners
A homeowners policy is a package — it protects both your property and your liability in one place. It covers the structure of your home and other structures, your personal possessions (even luggage stolen from a hotel while you travel), the additional cost of living elsewhere if your home becomes uninhabitable after a covered loss like a fire, and personal liability. Many homeowners policies include coverages people never realize they have; ask your agent to walk you through yours.
- Dwelling & other structures
- Personal property, at home and away
- Additional living expenses after a covered loss
- Personal liability protection
Dwelling
Dwelling insurance offers focused property protection at a much lower price than a full homeowners policy — ideal for investment, rental, vacation, or seasonally occupied properties. It protects the dwelling and other structures against fire and other named perils, covers landlord-owned property that tenants use such as furniture and appliances, and can replace lost rental income while the property is repaired after a covered loss.
- Dwelling & other structures (named perils)
- Landlord-owned contents
- Loss of rental income
- Note: dwelling policies generally do not include liability coverage
Perpetual Insurance
Perpetual insurance is a piece of Saucon history. Instead of paying a premium every year, a policyholder places a one-time deposit with the Company sized to the coverage required — and that deposit provides protection that never expires. It’s a model that reflects how long we intend to be here. Saucon Insurance Company is not currently writing new perpetual policies.
